Hanspeter Hanschick – the Head of Watches at Swarovski is a man with a passion for watches and significant experience in the field of horology. At 43, he is responsible for Swarovski’s new collection of exclusive watches and the first-time launch of the lines at Baselworld – the most well-known event in the world of horology.

He says, “It is a range of ladies’ watches that embody Swarovski design. As independent, unique pieces, they follow in the proud tradition of high-quality Swiss watches.”

Contemporary classics...
“Fashion plays an important part in the design process of our watches. We do not follow seasonal trends, but have made a conscious effort to include a range of classic design elements in our pieces. The traditional colours we have chosen underline this, with white, black, and gold predominating. As such, the 2009 collection will maintain a contemporary feel for many years to come,” he elaborates.

In addition, Octea Lady also flaunts a trendy pink. A colour that has been associated with femininity and softness and will continue to be the colour of the woman – whether she is bold or dainty, or a bit of both!

In the process of blending in high Swiss precision of timekeeping and Swarovski’s unquestioned leadership in crystal cuts, Swarovski has created the perfect timepiece for a number of occasions.

Explains Hanschick, “The pieces have been crafted to cover a range of different requirements, expectations and occasions.
